Quilt Projects of 2025

I thought it would be fun to share a post showing all of the quilt projects I made in 2025.

Island Batik Ambassador for 2025

Once again I was an ambassador for Island Batik (Lumin Fabrics) which always keeps me busy making quilt projects with their beautiful fabrics. Twice a year we receive fabric and quilting supplies from Island Batik and industry partners.

I always do a video and blog post showing what was in the boxes.

Snowdrift Quilt

The first quilt I finished in 2025 was this cute little Snowdrift quilt made from a Sew Sampler box from Fat Quarter Shop.

Renee’s Retreat Bag

Renee’s Retreat bag was a kit from Sewers Club. You get everything you need to make it. If you saw my 2026 Unfinished Quilt Projects post then you know that I have several more of these that I hope to finish in 2026

Candle Mat and a Wall Hanging

In 2025 I purchased quite a few subscription boxes. These are two quilt projects I made with a box from Open Gate Quilts.

Mini Heart Wall Hanging

I always love small quilt projects and this Mini Heart wall hanging from Creative Notions was fun to make. This was one of my Monday Happenings posts and I also saw a quilt project I forgot all about. Might have to pull that out.

Island Batik Table Runner

This was my first Island Batik ambassador quilt project for 2025. The fabrics in this collection were beautiful. Note to self – need to write the pattern.

Peachy Moda Scrap Bag Quilt

Peachy Moda Scrap Bag Quilt is a small quilt made with a Moda Scrap bag and some peach batik I had in my stash. Yes, I mix batiks with regular quilt fabrics. Have you ever bought Moda Scrap Bags?

Sunlit Garden Stacks

I used the Sunlit Garden Signature collection by Jerry Khiev for Jennifer Thomas of Curlicue Creations from Island Batik to make my Stacks quilt for a blog hop. This is always a fun quilt to make.

Love Blooms Layer Cake Quilt

I made this cute layer cake quilt I eventually wrote a tutorial for this called Colorburst. You can find that further down.

Irish Chain Quilt

Accuquilt sent each Island Batik ambassador their new Irish Chain die. I used the Rustic Riches collection to make my Irish Chain quilt.

Patriotic Wall Hanging

I made the Patriotic wall hanging using fabric and templates from MSQC.

Tidal Wave Baby Quilt

Tidal Wave was a fun baby quilt to make using Kaffe Fassett charm packs.

Silly Scrap Snake

The Silly Scrap Snake was another Island Batik challenge. I’m not the greatest at making stuffed animals so I always try and pick a easy one to make. I have to admit that I love this photo.

Tula Pink Full Moon Forest Baby Quilt

I made this quilt using a Tula Pink layer cake, this makes it good for a baby quilt or a lap quilt. Rusty likes it.

Strippy Spools Quilt

I made the Strippy Spools quilt as part of a QAL with Fat Quarter shop. This was fun to make.

Colorburst Quilt

Colorburst is a remake of the Love Blooms baby quilt and even made it bigger. Then I finally wrote the tutorial

Our October Island Batik project was a ByAnnie bag. I made this one for my daughter. I still want to make one for myself.

This was another quilt I had fun making. Several have asked about a pattern and hopefully I will get that done.

Another Disappearing 9 Patch

I spent a weekend playing with Disappearing 9 patch blocks and made several different projects that I just shared a peek at. This ended up being my final Island Batik quilt project for 2025.

Successful year I would say for you. All very nice!

  2. Happy New Year, Connie!
You had another busy year, filled with beautiful projects.
I, on the other hand, have been exceptionally unproductive. Just went back into my photos to find that I finished exactly three quilts in 2025. I think that’s an all time low for me but hope to do better this year.

  3. Ooh nice quilt show! I finished 2. Lol. Gave them away for Christmas. Maybe next year for more finishes. 🙂

Nice work, and you had an ambitious year. I love hearts, and my favorite is your little heart’s wall hanging.
