Island Batik Ambassador Unboxing

As an Island Batik ambassador, I received the first fabrics in January and shared that post here. This is what I’ll be using to create my Island Batik projects for the rest of the year. It is like Christmas opening these boxes!

Earth Essence Batiks

I received a full bundle of the Earth Essence collection that included 1/2 yard pieces of each fabric. There was also two – 2 yards of coordinating batiks. This will be used for the September blog hop.

Glorious Green Gradations Strips

I received the Glorious Green Gradations 2 1/2 inch strips. It is so neat to have all the different colors of greens.

Stash Builders

Stash Builders are always a great addition to my stash as there is a variety of fabrics in them. Each package contains 4 bundles of 4 fabrics that are 5 inches by the width of the fabric. These really come in handy.

Basics

Neutrals are always a favorite of mine and I received 6 yards of Corn Silk. I also received three 4 yard pieces of solid white, solid gray, and solid black batiks. I’m glad to have more of these!

ByAnnie Bag

In October I’ll be making a new bag for my daughter. These are the batiks that I picked for it.

Hobbs Batting

Hobbs Batting also sent along a very generous box of different battings to use in our quilt projects. It is great to have a variety of different battings to choose from when making a quilt project.

Aurifil Thread

I received 4 spools of Aurifil 100% cotton thread. This thread works great in my vintage Singer 15-91 sewing machine.

Surprise Bundle

We always receive a bundle of fabrics that can’t be shared yet. This will be for my November blog hop project.

You can find a list of all of the Island Batik ambassadors in my first unboxing post.

November bundle of fabrics

I want to thank Island Batik, Hobbs Batting, Aurifil, and ByAnnie for everything I received to make my ambassador quilt projects for the rest of the year.

  1. Just now getting thru my email list… such beautiful fabrics! I love that curvy looking stone shape on top of the green bundle. Fabulous! Batiks are so wonderful and lots of backgrounds to use, which is nice! Lovely batting collection too! I particularly like those width of fabric wider strips. I have some old ones from a different manufacturer that are 5.5-6 inches by WOF that I got over a decade ago and I still have a few packs left to work thru. They are great fun. Are those stash packs sold anywhere or just for the ambassadors?

  2. Those fabrics are amazing. I can hardly wait to see what you create. Those earth tones and stone collection fabrics would be my favorite.
