Looking Back at 2017 Quilt Projects

It is always fun to look back at the past year and see what quilts and projects I have completed. Normally I have done a monthly blog review but it looks like April 2017 was my last one.

When dad got sick I really slowed down on my quilting and I have to say that if I hadn’t had commitments…..who knows what I would have finished! Accountability keeps me motivated! While going through my 2017 posts I actually found several that are still drafts! Some are AccuQuilt posts that go on their blog and then later I share them here.

Almost all of my quilt projects were made as commitments to Island Batik as their ambassador, AccuQuilt as a monthly guest and Fat Quarter Shop for several of their quilt alongs. I also became an ambassador for Aurifil and used their thread in almost all of my quilt projects.

Take a look at the graphic below….this is how far I got on my monthly review graphic! I believe I bought my new desktop computer in April and it has only been in the last month or so that I am moving all of my photos to it. I can’t believe I waited so long as Photoshop and Electric Quilt 8 open lightning fast!

2017 Monthly Blog Reviews

I look forward to a fun-filled year with lots of tutorials…….hopefully my old posts with “Tutorial coming soon” will get taken care of this year.

Last night I spent about 3 hours learning about Dropbox. I have had a free account for several years and have never fully utilized it. I have decided to put all of my files and photos in Dropbox with everything synced between my phone and computers so I upgraded to a paid account. Wish me luck and I’ll let you know how it goes! If you would like a free Dropbox account click here.

Save this for later!

I'll email you this post so you can come back to it later.

Don't worry, I promise not to spam you.

Hello connie, sorry to hear you have had to deal with the dreaded covid alongside moving to your lovely new home. Hope you soon feel fighting fit but do take care, moving is exhausting enough as it is.

Looking forward to future emails and buying some of the pdf patterns I am seeing for next year. USA is certainly the place for quilting.

I hope this means you are getting back on track with the monthly summaries as I find them very helpful especially when I’m trying to find a tutorial. I look forward to your projects in 2018 since you write such clear and detailed tutorials.
