Today I am taking part in the Peppermint Bark QAL with the Fat Quarter Shop and other quilters using the beautiful Peppermint Bark quilt pattern by It’s Sew Emma.

I happened to have some batiks by Ediyta Sitar that I bought some time ago from the Fat Quarter Shop that I thought would be perfect for the Peppermint Bark quilt.

This size of my is 36″ x 36″ and is the crib size but the pattern includes several different sizes.

It would be fun to make a queen size quilt with these beautiful blocks!

We recently bought a new table that is square and it is fun to leave a small quilt on it all the time.

The colors in the Peppermint Bark quilt work perfectly for us!

I used the last of my Aurifil thread #2310 but I had another spool of #2311 that I was able to use to finish doing my free motion quilting on my vintage 15-91 Singer sewing machine.

  1. Pretty little quilt, and fabrics. Your quilting is gorgeous, as always.

  2. Those fabrics are incredible. I love the design too. Great finish, Connie.

  3. Peppermint Bark Quilt is lovely and looks really good on your square table. <3

  4. That really is a beautiful block. And your quilt looks lovely on the table. That size actually fits nicely on the big round coffee table in my family room, and I usually have a quilt that size on there.

    1. Thanks Sara and I love having quilts out on things too.

  5. Nice! We want to buy a smaller table for the dining room, I was thinking oblong though.

    1. We should have gotten a rectangle one as we sometimes have to put the food on the island, especially if we have 4 people over.
