Scattered and Mini Scattered patterns are my favorite quilt to make as each one looks to different depending on the fabrics you use. This is my Breezy Mini Scattered quilt.

Breezy Mini Scattered Quilt

It was fun to take my Breezy Mini Scattered quilt outside for photos. Those are my mini sunflowers I started from seeds.

The Mini Scattered quilt is a fun quilt pattern that looks different every time you make it!

Breezy 5 Inch Squares

I used the Island Batik collection called Breezy 5-inch squares for my quilt. I got them from Missouri Star Quilt Company.

Dark Gray Batik Background Fabric

For my background fabric I used the dark gray solid gray batik that I recently received in my Island Batik Ambassador box. I decided to quilt it with Aurifil thread and ended up picking the darkest gray thread.

Quilting on my 15-91 Singer Sewing Machine

When I have a small quilt or table runner, I still find it enjoyable to do my quilting on my vintage 15-91 Singer sewing machine. I drop the feed dogs, put on a darning foot and set the stitch length to zero.

I used Aurifil thread and a Schmetz 80/12 Microtex Sharp needle.

I really like this quilt. Can you tell me the finished size of the quilt? Thanks. I purchased your pattern last year.

  2. The Breezy Mini Scattered Quilt looks so nice and very versatile with all the different colours. It goes very well with your Marigolds – all lovely and summery. I did laugh at Rusty getting the hang of using the ramp and getting to bed before you. Best wishes
