2026 April Color of the Month

Right now it is raining outside which is perfect for April showers. Easter is this Sunday and I thought PINK would be the 2026 April Color of the Month.

You can pick any shade of PINK and you can make any quilt block or quilt project. It doesn’t have to be the Churn Dash quilt block.

Pink Churn Dash Quilt Block

Here are my pink Churn Dash quilt blocks. I really enjoy using my leftover batiks from my Island Batik ambassador quilt projects. I used a mixture of batiks and cotton quilting fabrics. I do this quite often. The white is a premium muslin.

So far I have 8 Churn Dash quilt blocks, January was teal, February was red, March was green, and April is pink.

It’s my birthday this month too. April 18th. Just another day here. No one to celebrate with but my Chihuahuas.
It’s a busy time with my guilds. The block I sent I’m working on for retreat tomorrow! Then it’s quilt camp next weekend and guild meeting the Tuesday after that. Busy is a good thing when it comes to sewing.😁 Happy quilting 🪡
