April UFO is #11

It looks like all I have to do is quilt my April UFO, again I have no idea why I have never finished this quilt but I do have some info on it.

Aurifil Designer Block of the Month 2014

Wow, this is another old quilt top! It looks like I made a new block every month through 2014 taking part in the Aurifil Designer Block of the Month using batiks. I believe I was an Aurifil ambassador that year. I have notes that I laid out all of the blocks but never saw a sashing design on the Aurifil blog so I designed my own.

  1. I really like your UFO #11. The colours are perfect. I guess there is no pattern?

  2. Joline Moore says:

    HI,
Do you have a pattern for your April UFO, so that I could create one. I love the blocks in it and the way you did the sashing to finish it. It’s perfect for the quilt.
Would love to make one, with your sashing as well. Do you sell the pattern?

  3. Brenda @ Songbird Designs says:

I added a photo of what I will be working on though the background color will be different. I surely hope to get it finished this month!

  4. Julie Kemmerer says:

My April pick is a duffle bag, and I now know why I put it to the side. I don’t have enough strips to finish and my strips are sewn a bit wonky. Well, that’s ok! Maybe the grandkids will want it when it’s done.

  5. May April UFO project is a lap quilt that has been laying forgotten in a drawer for a couple of years. Time to get it made finally.

  6. I am new to this and hoping to post my April UFO, how do I do that?

  7. The colors are so soothing in your sampler. The choice of sashing enhances the blocks. Has it really been that long since you did the Twister? Wow! I see a lot of people are returning to blogging. It seems a bit friendlier so if you are a dinosaur, you are a seasoned one!
