Have you ever noticed how much I like fast and easy quilt patterns? All of the designs I create usually include “Fast & Easy” in the description. You’ll find a link to the free quilt pattern at the end of this post.

Jelly Roll Check

Today I’m taking part in another fun QAL with Fat Quarter Shop.

This time I chose to use some of my leftover batiks from Pat Sloan’s Sunday Drive Batiks collection.

The leftovers were from my Morning Glory Quilt and thought it would be fun to use them up.

Using coordinating batik fabrics makes it easy to design blocks and a quilt.

I thought I’d use up all my leftovers fabrics but……..I have leftovers from this new project…..wonder what I can make with them!

I also used Aurifil thread in a beautiful mustard color for the quilting. It blended perfectly with all of the fabrics.

I found a perfect backing in my stash. It is a very soft yellow with a tan dot.

Originally I was going to use the white batik but I decided to use the teal print instead, which do you like better?

I now have two quilts made with the Sunday Drive batik collection.
