Amber Geese Quilted
This post may contain affiliate links which won’t change your price but will share a commission.I finished quilting my Amber Geese quilt and had to wait for a day without wind so I could take pictures outside. I really like how this came out!

Last week I showed you the added borders to the piece I had made last October.
I did my usual free motion quilting on it and just happened to have a perfect piece in my stash for the back.
I used Fil-tech Glide thread in cream and also Bottom Line thread in a taupe for the stitching.
As usual, all of my quilting was done with my 15-91 vintage Singer sewing machine. I did the straight line stitching freehand.
The size of this quilt is 36 ½” x 52 ½. I wrote the pattern info as I was making it and hopefully I can share that with you soon.
The fabrics I used are Amber Ale batiks from Island Batik. The background fabric is also a batik from Island Batik called Cream – it is one of their basics.
The first quilt I made with these fabrics was my Amber Logs quilt that I made last July. I really love how you can do a search on your blog and find all this info……great diary!

Love your quilt!!! It did turn out really cute. Keep reminding me to vote for your blocks every day – good luck 🙂
Your quilt is lovely as well as the fabrics. I just love Batiks and that is what they look like to me.
Gorgeous quilt! I just love those colours. And I managed to vote no problem 🙂
The voting page worked today.
So Beautiful Connie! It makes me think of Autumn when the flocks of geese are honking overhead on their way south.
Great job with the design and the quilting. I got my 15-91 a new darning foot and a new walking foot that fits the feed dogs on straight stitch machines, both of which I'm itching to try.
Can't believe how fast you put this quilt together! It turned out really nice. I love all the colors! I tried to vote again, but the links didn't seem to work for me. I will try later. 🙂
Beautiful finish, Connie. Those fabrics are gorgeous against the white. Love the design you used and how you added the borders to make this quilt rectangular. Looks fabulous!
Lovely quilt Connie! It looks so cozy.
Connie that really turned out beautifully. The borders are just awesome. Great job once again.
Such a beautiful quilt.
It's really beautiful and the last border on the edge really adds some punch.
I finished binding my newly quilted Aruba Sunset pattern test project over the weekend. I've had lots of compliments on it because they love your design.
This is such a beautiful quilt, resplendent in it's gorgeous batik colors. All of your work is so well done, with a lot of thought given to color combos. You should be very proud of your creations. Enjoy the day! lv2bquilting2@comcast.net
