Glimmer Block
This is the third week of the Very Vintage Christmas sew along celebrating Lori Holt’s newest book Vintage Christmas hosted by Fat Quarter Shop.
All of the blocks in Lori’s new book are so neat! I am sharing the City Sidewalk block that I made with using some fabrics that I had in my stash.
There are two different sizes for each block in the book. I decided to go with the 6 inch block. This block would look great placed in a quilt project diagonally also.
Last week I shared the City Sidewalk block made with the same charm pack collection.
You’ll find easy to follow step by step directions for everything in the Vintage Christmas quilt book.
Be sure and visit the other quilters that are sharing blocks today.
Week 3 – Friday, November 9
- Glisten Block – Sherri of A Quilting Life
- Holly & Ivy Block – Jennie of Porch Swing Quilts
- Ice Skate Block – Kristie of @crosshatchquilts on Instagram
- Jingle Bell Block – Anorina of Samelia’s Mum
I have recently subscribed to your newsletter. Love your tutorials. You have mentioned that you use your 15-91 to quilt some of your pieces. I have a 15-90 and just found out how to drop my feed dogs. What foot are you using to stipple? I haven’t found a quilting foot like for my Janome. Thank you.
That looks really nice. That is going to be a great quilt.
Gorgeous blocks and wonderful piecing by you, Connie.
