I just finished a cute quilt that uses the Quilt Town fat quarter bundle and my Stacks quilt pattern.

Quilt Town Stacks

I think this would make a wonderful quilt for a child’s room or how about using it as a picnic quilt! Here it is on a twin size bed.

Stacks Throw Size 62 x 74

This is the throw size of the Stacks quilt pattern and is 62″ x 74″.

Quilt Town Stacks Full Size Bed

Here it is on a full size bed. We bought Rusty a ramp so he doesn’t have to jump on the bed. We are still working on him using it.

Rusty is getting good at posing!

Longarm Quilting

It didn’t take me long at all to quilt this on my Noltings longarm. Not having to piece the backing was great.

Quilt and Pillow

I had two blocks leftover so I made a pillowcase with them.

Polyester Batting and Tutorial

I decided to use a Hobbs Polyester Batting and large meandering for the quilting. This made the quilt puffy with a higher loft.

I made scrap quilts using polyester batting for all of my grandchildren and they loved how warm and cozy the quilts were. Check them out.

Outside Photo

One more photo of the Quilt Town Stacks quilt. This was taken before it was quilted and the lighting outside was perfect so show the fabrics.

If you missed it, here is my Missouri Star Quilt Company post.

You have made another fantastic quilt! Don’t know how you do it, it takes me two weeks to get started on my projects!
Love your color choices too !
My husband made a ramp for our dogs and it has seen 20+ years of use. Once they get the hang of it they don’t ever use the stairs! We carpeted it with fake grass and stapled it into place.

  2. I like the colors in the quilt. We made ramps for our older cats. It didn’t take them long to learn how to use it. I am sure Rusty will have it figured out soon too.

I love the stacks design as much as Rusty does.
I’ve decided to make my baby girl and baby boy quilts using this design.
Time to raid my fabric stash for the best pink and blue fabrics to use.
Thanks for sharing this pattern which will be easy to construct and finish with straight line quilting.
    Kind regards

  4. Love the quilt! Even more so, I love the pic of Rusty, smiling! Priceless! ♥️ Terry

  5. Those are pretty fabrics. Rusty looks as though he approves too. You always accomplish so much.

  6. Beautiful quilt using the MSQC Quilt Town FQ. I hope all are using your MSQC link for a great discount.
    Prayers for our country.

Sweet Rusty! I love reading your blog and seeing pictures of Rusty!

  8. What a happy colourful quilt and some lovely pictures of Rusty. He looks so happy and healthy – a credit to you and Bob the Builder 😊😊. What a wonderful idea to have a ramp for Rusty. I could do with that after a day gardening and then roller skate down it in the morning 🤭
