Sandy Beaches Aurifil

It is fun seeing what the Daily Deal is and in September there is 3 instead of 1 each day!

The Daily Special I bought was 3 spools of Aurifil 50wt thread. I like this size which has 1,422 yards of thread on each spool. This was normally $44.95 and I purchased it for $22.99.

  1. WOW that’s a great deal! I picked out 5 bundles, now need to go back for the “free shipping”, might just triple the bundle – that way I have enough of any of the colors. Takes about 35 fat quarters to make a queen? Or more? I did get an elephant bundle a while ago, always good for kids quilts. Thanks! Pleasure shopping with you!

    1. Great Joan, you definitely want to get the free shipping! I’m still tempted to go back and buy more. LOL, I have really been buying in the last month, more that all of last year!

  2. Great fat quarter haul, Connie! Thanks for sharing. 🙂
I also found the Eliza the Elephant Favorites bundle for $5 a couple months ago. I made my neice a baby quilt who’s arriving at the end of this month–all that’s left is hand-sewing the binding and making the label when I have her birthdate. The fabric is really nice. I’m also going to make Mom a matching bag. Guess I’d better get to work on that.
