Are you looking for another fast and easy quilt block to make into a quilt? The Lady of the Lake quilt is just that. I am taking part in another QAL where all of us make one Lady of the Lake block and then sent a photo of it to the Fat Quarter Shop. I can’t wait to see all of the beautiful blocks on the Fat Quarter Shop blog!
You can get the free block pattern by visiting Fat Quarter Shop’s free pattern page – look for the Lady of the Lake quilt block pattern.
I pulled out some scraps left from the Dovetail quilt that I made with Chestnut by Fig Tree Quilts.
The Lady of the Lake quilt is available as a pattern for full size quilts. The pattern includes the following finished sizes:
- Lap – 59.5″ x 76.5″
- Twin – 65.5″ x 82.5″
- Queen – 84.5″ x 84.5″
- King – 101.5″ x 101.5″
There is also as a kit. The kit is made with The Good Life collection by Bonnie & Camille for the 59.5″ x 76.5″ size.
This is a neat block to use up your scraps with or a Layer cake bundle.
You make just one quilt block….in 2 different sizes and then combine them.
Be sure to visit the Fat Quarter Shop blog to see all of the other blocks created with the Lady of the Lake block.
Thought I would share a new photo of little Sadie out on the deck. She spends a lot of her time with my dad.
