Since we are just weeks away from Halloween, I thought it would be fun to show you how it looks as a Halloween quilt.
The pattern is designed to make a 24″ x 24″ wall hanging and includes full size templates for the kitty and accessories like the little pumpkin, witch hat, Christmas present and stocking cap.
If you don’t care for bright Halloween colors, consider using muted fabrics.
Christmas is always a perfect time to change what you have hanging up on your walls. This wall hanging is 24″ x 24″ and a great size to display, you could always add borders if you wanted it to be bigger.
The pattern includes full-color diagrams to easily show you how to make your Kitty Kitty quilt. The design might look hard but it is actually just half square triangles and four patch blocks.
You can also make this into a pillow and if you leave off the Halloween and Christmas accessories, you can have it out all year long. Wouldn’t this be cute in a child’s room?

It is fast and easy to make when you use an iron-adhesive on the back of your applique pieces. I like to do my machine applique by free-motion stitching and sometimes I use a permanent pen for small details.
