Sorbet quilt pattern

56″ x 72″

I have just released my Sorbet quilt pattern which is super easy and can be made in 4 different sizes!

In my last newsletter, I showed a couple of photos that I took outside by the river of the quilt. It was windy and I had to take a ton of photos because most of them turned out like this!

I even tried moving my Sorbet quilt a little further away from the river. Nope! Funny thing was that Builder Bob suggested that I take a video of the quilt flapping around in the wind…..guess what happened when I hit record….the wind stopped! We got a good laugh at that!

Finally I got a couple photos of the Sorbet quilt without the wind blowing! The Mississippi river is now covered in a layer of ice! How fast things can change in a couple days!

I had a lot of fun making this quilt and used fabrics from Island Batik. The collection is called Ditty and just came out this fall. The colors are beautiful and like a rainbow!

There are directions for 4 different sizes of this quilt. I made the 56″ x 72″ size in batiks. Using a bundle of coordinating fabrics makes it easy to make your quilt.

  1. Hi Connie! This quilt is beautiful, and the fabrics in those colors. Ooh-la-la! The name is perfect and I can just taste those delicious sorbet flavors. And who wants or needs perfect photos?!! I like it when the wind messes with you and blows over a corner. That way we get to see the backing and real life! ~smile~ Roseanne

  2. Beautiful quilt, Connie. I had to laugh at your video experience. Every time my dog would be doing something cute that I wanted on video, he would stop as soon as I hit the record button. It never fails. lol
