Jacob’s Ladder Free Quilt Block Pattern
Today I am sharing a small wall hanging made with the Jacob’s Ladder quilt block which is from Fat Quarter Shop’s “Classic and Vintage Series”.
There is a Quilt Along going on so be sure and visit the Jolly Jabber today to learn more about this block.
This wall hanging took no time at all to make and uses just 4 Jacob’s Ladder quilt blocks. I chose to use batiks for my blocks. I thought you might like to see just how easy this block is to make. This could also be used as a table topper.
The size is 34″ x 34″
The background fabric is also a batik that I have had for quite some time.
The pattern for just the Jacob’s Ladder block is free and you can download it.
If you would like the complete pattern in different sizes, you can find it here.
Kimberly from the Fat Quarter Shop also shares a video on the Jacob’s Ladder quilt block. If you are a visual learner you will enjoy it.
I added a small border of the background fabric and then a larger border using a brown batik that was very similar to the one I used for my blocks. It too no time at all the finish this and then I took it to the park for some photos since the weather was nice. Today it has turned cold again.Have you ever made the Jacob’s Ladder block? Did you like it? Fat Quarter Shop also has this as a pattern – Jacob’s Ladder Classic & Vintage with 4 different sizes of quilts that includes all the instructions and yardage.Pin this for later and don’t forget to stop by the Jolly Jabber to see their version of the Jacob’s Ladder quilt block!
