UFO # 8 Delainey’s Twirls & Swirls Quilt

Once again I am taking part in the 2017 UFO Challenge with AllPeopleQuilt.com.

Twirling Stars quilt ufo

The UFO chosen for February is #8, yippee!! I have another easy one to finish! It is called Delainey’s Twirls & Swirls, it looks a lot better now that I have ironed it compared to how it looked on my design wall.

Update: the quilt is finished! Take a look at the Twirling Stars baby quilt!

Last month I finished UFO #6 – my batik placemats and table topper, another UFO I can’t believe I didn’t finish!

#APQResolution can be used on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.

I finished this flimsy in October of 2014, at least I think that is when I made it. I watched a video from Missouri Star Quilt Co. and thought it looked like fun. I also happened to have a charm square pack of beautiful fabrics that I thought would be perfect for a baby quilt.

Save this for later!

I'll email you this post so you can come back to it later.

Don't worry, I promise not to spam you.

The quilt is called Delainey’s Twirls & Swirls Quilt and Jenny of Missouri Star Quilt Co. makes a 74″ x 97″ quilt using just one charm pack and 2 yards of fabric for the 6 1/2″ background squares.

It took me a while but I went back and found the link to the video tutorial for Delainey’s Twirls & Swirls Quilt.

My quilt is only 36″ x 40″ – I am going to put flannel on the back of it as I really liked it when I used it on my Lake Life quilt.

One Monthly Goal

I am also linking up with Patty’s February One Monthly Goal Challenge – link up your UFO by February 7th.

  1. Your #8 is farther along than mine. #8 for me is a kit, not cut, not stitched only kitted up! What was I thinking, putting that on the challenge list? Well, it is up next as soon as I finish my Mondo bag which is for a local quilt group challenge. Yikes.
Congrats on the OMG win! You deserve it.
