Fractured Quilt Pattern
Fractured is another beautiful quilt pattern that I am sharing with you today. The colors in this quilt really make me think of Spring and bright colorful flowers!
The weather has been beautiful here in Iowa, no snow yet!
The quilt is made with the Dotalicious collection from Island Batik and is available to stores from Island Batik or you can contact me.
Fractured is available as a downloadable PDF file from my Craftsy store. It is also available as a paper pattern, please contact me if interested. stipplequilt at gmail dot com. A paper pattern is also available for wholesale for quilt shops.
The quilt pattern uses two different blocks and one of them has a section that is done with either templates (included in the pattern) or by paper piecing with foundation paper.
I use newsprint paper for all of my paper piecing as it is so easy to tear off. In the digital pattern I include one page that can be printed multiple times. In the actual paper pattern I have included enough newsprint pages for the whole quilt.
This is the only block section that is paper pieced.I always make sure I crease my paper pieced section along the stitching lines. This makes it much easier to fold back and trim your pieces. In the pattern I give the sizes to cut each piece so you will make sure each section is covered.
There is nothing better than finishing a section that is perfect!
