Are you thinking about gifts for Valentines’ Day?
I always enjoy making projects for Valentine’s Day, I think it is because I love the color red so much.
Today I am sharing 10 free Valentine quilt tutorials that I have done over the years.
Be sure to check out my post which is a roundup of Valentine’s Day tutorials done by other quilters.
I went back through my blog posts and found quite a few tutorials that I think you will enjoy.
If you have been following me for some time……you have probably already seen them but maybe you have time now to make one or two!
Little Sadie was supposed to get a haircut today…..I thought. Took her to the groomer and found out her appointment was last week. Hopefully Sadie can get a haircut next week.
My most popular Valentine quilt project is my Twisting Heart Wall hanging. Would you believe that I made this back in 2013! It continues to be a favorite on Pinterest.
Here is another oldie from 2012! My Red Strings Tablerunner tutorial which is perfect for Valentine’s Day. This now resides at my daughter’s house and she even puts it out at Christmas time!
The Valentine Heart Tablerunner is a beautiful batik piece with 3 easy hearts. It is a good thing I went back and looked at this post….somehow the pictures had disappeared….that doesn’t make a very good tutorial!
Can you tell I love table runners! I made this one in February 2015.
Red Snail Trail would make a neat Valentine’s tablerunner also. It uses the AccuQuilt GO! Big Snail Trail die.
Batik Table Topper – this is a table topper I made using Island Batik fabrics.
Valentine Tablerunner– This has been updated to include cutting directions if you don’t have an AccuQuilt GO! cutting system.
My basket tutorial made in reds for Valentine’s Day.
Galentine’s Day Mug Rug – love this, what a great way to use up scraps!
Batik coasters and basket – This would be cute for Valentine’s Day and you won’t believe how easy it is to make!
Free Printable for Galentine’s Day or Valentine’s Day.
This is one of my favorite table runners and I think it might have been one of the first patterns that I wrote.

Hi Connie, thank you for the printable notes! Your Twister Heart is on my sewing table for next week. It looks so awesome, I’ve had the tool for some time and your tutorial has inspired me to try it out. Enjoy your weekend, it is a beautiful sunny day here in Michigan. Chris

Red is such a lively color and your Valentine projects are beautiful. Since I am not a quilter I can honestly say I have made some of those fabric boxes and given them as gifts with goodies inside. Happy HeArts and Valentine’s to YOU Connie Dear…<3

So many beautiful things to make for Valentines. I’ve made that red string table runner back in 2012. Hope to use another of your ideas this year.

Hello Connie; Sorry that you missed Sadie’s haircut appointment. I am in the process of giving my poodle Mr. Shakes, his haircut. He really looks funny right now, all legs but one are shortened and so I call him Mr. Lopsided. He just cocks his head at me. LOL. Sadie always looks beautiful though! It is kind of sad, but I have not been into Valentines for many years. Yet, your Valentines Table Runner really caught my attention. The large stars with the hearts are so perfectly spaced, in my opinion and in yours also as you designed it LOL. I really do think that I will make this for my Mother this year. Thank you for sharing all of your great patterns and I look forward to seeing more everyday! Have a fantastic day!

I do love that twister pattern – your quilting really enhances the design! Thanks for including the cutting directions; I don’t have a GO! and unless I win one somewhere, somehow, I just don’t foresee one in my future. 🙁
When I got to the basket picture, I thought for a moment that was Sadie popping up out of the middle one! She’s a cutie, for sure!!
