Are you ready to decorate your house with fall quilt projects and decorations? I am! Now if it would just cool down enought to be able to turn off the air conditioning!
Can you guess what I am working on? You know it will be a fast and easy quilt project! I’m not sure if I’ll add buttons to it but I couldn’t resist picking these up that last time I was at our Joann store.Autumn batik pumpkin quilt projecterI also picked up some zippers in beautiful fall colors!Buttons and zippers for upcoming quilt projects

It is always fun to get an order for some of my quilt patterns! This is my newest pattern called Spinners and I’ll get these in the mail next week. This is a fun pattern to make and you can purchase a digital copy in my shop.

The Spinners quilt pattern includes full-color diagrams and also a black/white drawing that you can use if you would like to change the colors in this quilt.

The pattern is on sale for a limited time – this would be a perfect time to grab it!

The flower print batik was used on the back of a my Affinity quilt. I recently donated this quilt,, one other and two table runners to help raise money for a young mother with cancer in our area.  It was a silent auction with a lot of items donated and I have no idea what my quilts went for but…..$80,000 was raised for her! How awesome is that!

  1. Connie Dear your donated quilts are so beautiful and what a wonderful community effort for this lady. Very cute patchwork pumpkins. I do like the buttons with the little squares. Fall is in the air…<3

Connie, you have minimal ads on your page compared to a couple of blogs I follow!! On those, the top and bottom have ads as well as EVERY picture has something across the bottom…and I don’t look on the sides of the pages because those are loaded too!! I’ve heard that if your followers click on the ads, you get more $$ and after about a week of clicking on all those ads, the ads disappear for the rest of the month because they don’t want to have to pay you more $$. Not sure if that is true, but I’m giving it a shot this month!! Your blocks are fabulous – I always love seeing what you create, even when I don’t always comment!!

I am so sorry to see the large increase in the number of ads on your blog. I know the ads help support the blog and allow you to offer so many patterns for free and I truly appreciate that and have made several of them. I read the blog on my kindle and the frequent ads are making difficult to read. On another note, I made some similar pumpkin blocks last year but never finished the project, so I guess it’s time to dig them out and make something.

    1. Hi Pat,

I am sorry about the increase in ads, I went with a different company and yes they do help support my site so I can offer more freebies. I am making pdfs of many of my tutorials so you can download them and there are no ads in them. Good luck in the giveaway!

Hello Connie; Congratulations on such a splendid order! I have so much respect for you because you have made quilting your business and yet you share so many of your designs for free. Your new pumpkin pattern is cute! I honestly do not think I have made any type of Halloween or Autumn quilt in years. I should definitely change that this year! Especially since I have been saving some beautiful browns, oranges and just a mixture of autumn colors. I also want you to know that I do enjoy your new Newsletter and special Pattern section. I hope that you received the email I sent. I just remembered the Save the Bees project, thanks to you! I forgot all about it. So my weekend is going to be busy sewing making quilt projects! I do hope that your weekend is fantastic!
