I have no idea why I haven’t done a Sharing Quilt Projects post in so long but I plan on sharing them again. This is Sharing Quilt Projects #25. I have received many, many photos of quilt projects made with my tutorials and patterns. I would love to have you send me yours!

My Quilting

I’m just finishing up a Christmas table topper that I will be sharing soon. I also just realized I haven’t done a walk-through of my quilt studio since I painted it and hung things on the wall. I’m adding that to my “to-do” list.

If you look real close, you can see a playhouse in the neighbor’s yard. I have a bird/squirrel feeder in our tree right in front of it. I spend a lot of time just watching the wildlife outside. Like the squirrel in the next photo.

Did you see the cute little refrigerator I recently bought? I love the vintage look. I have some treats for Rusty sitting on top.

Mini refrigerator

Rusty decided to photo boom my quilt photo which shocked me! I guess he has gotten used to me asking him to sit by my quilts.

I used my AccuQuilt cutter and the 8-inch Qube set to make this table topper. Right now AccuQuilt is having a great sale!

Chole

Miriam recently adopted this precious King Charles Cavalier, who was found wandering on a busy road. Chole will love living with Miriam’s other two dogs and cat.

Rosie

I had shared a photo of Rusty sleeping like this and Lynn sent me this cute photo of Rosie whom she had recently adopted.  She was told if they sleep like that they are comfortable with their surroundings.

  1. Thank you for sharing this. I have a problem I hope you or your subscribers might be able to help me with. After 9/11 I purchased a beautiful Fleece wall hanging. I haven’t tried to do anything with it yet because I don’t know what to use as a backing. I have an overabundance of cotton fabrics, but I am not sure if cotton would be an acceptable fabric to pair with the fleece. Is fleece a difficult fabric to work with?
The fleece depicts 3 large eagle heads. My daughter loves eagles, and I would love to give it to her when it’s finished. Thank you for your suggestions.

I too am curious about the bar above your sewing table. Please let us newbies know how it is used. Love your newsletters and photos!

  3. It’s fun to see all of the projects and how others made your patterns. Love the happy rescued pets in their new homes. Rusty sure has a twin!

  4. Your sharing posts are always so fun. It’s great seeing all the sewing pets. Your sewing setup looks wonderful. It’ll be great to watch the changing seasons while stitching.

  5. I am curious about the bar by your sewing machine. What do you use it for? I love your patterns. Thank you for offering so many projects.

  6. So many wonderful quilts and dogs! Don’t know which I like better! All are certainly colorful and cuddly! Thanks

  7. Love that fall look. The pattern and your sewing room view. Rusty and my Midnight share the same dislike for car rides. Beautiful sewing room too! I’m finally done with the Reunion quilt so I think I might try yours now.
    Love all the photos.
    Take care Blessings
