This morning was my weekly coffee with the neighbor and some friends and I saw a tent set up with fireworks for the coming 4th of July which made me think of some of my red, white, and blue quilt tutorials that you might not have seen.

My neighbor Mary is also a very crafty person and she gave each of us a beautiful little floral decoration. I had to take a few photos of it with my quilt projects.

Patriotic Placemats

These are my patriotic placemats which are 12 1/2″ x 17″ and perfect on your table. These are fun to make and here is the Patriotic quilted placemats tutorial.

Have you ever made a mug rug? They are a fast quilt project and I used a orphan quilt block that was in my stash to make this one.

All of these projects are fantastic! Can’t wait to try one of them. Thank you for sharing!!

  2. Every one of your red/white/blue projects is awesome. I have a pattern hanging on my bulletin board of a runner using that 3-D pinwheel. I like your idea of using it in a placemat much better. I especially love the rail fence one too.

I saved some yogurt jars but haven’t done anything with them. The red, white and blue quilts are beautiful! Rusty looks so happy.
