I made a beautiful quilted holiday table topper in gold fall batiks that will look perfect on our table this fall. If you have these colors in your room, keep it out all year.

10 Inch Quilt Block

I made a 10-inch quilt block and just added borders to get it to the size I wanted. Here is a closeup of the quilt block, I made it with batiks.

The quilt block is the same one that I used in my Christmas Quilted Holiday Table Runner tutorial. You’ll find the piecing directions in that post, here is the fabric needed.

Fabrics:

  • Brick – 1/4 yard (includes binding)
  • Print – 1/4 yard
  • White – 1/8 yard
  • Gold – 1/8 yard
  • 20 inch square for backing
  • 20 inch square batting

Cut the following pieces for the block

  • A – Cut 5 – 3 inch squares – Gold
  • B – Cut 32 – 1 ¾ inch squares of White
  • C – Cut 6 – 1 ¾ x 3 inches – Print
  • D – Cut 6 – 1 ¾ x 3 inches – Rust
  • E – Cut 6 – 1 ¾ inch squares – Rust
  • F – Cut 4 – 1 ¾ inch squares – Rust
  • G – Cut 2 – 1 ¾ inch x 6 ¾ inch – Print

Does the quilt block look familiar? It is the same quilt block that I used in my Christmas Table Runner.

I have also added this table topper to the Christmas Holiday table runner PDF in my shop.
