Piece and Quilt Collection Neutrals

I have several projects to get finished and one project is actually two pillows using the Box block tutorial. I decided to do free motion organic lines…..love that term…..it means the lines don’t have to be straight.
 Anyway, I did 5 lines about 2 inches apart going right through the brown prints and then decided I didn’t care for it. What to do? Well, I started on the other pillow and quilted just the cream sections and really, really liked that. Good thing the weather was nice so I could sit out on the deck with my seam ripper and remove the stitching on the first one.
I am quilting my Box block pillows using #2405 and #2372 of Aurifil thread. I still need to do the quilting on the brown batiks, I haven’t decided how I will quilt that part yet.
I already had both of these colors and it was great to see that they are included in Christa Watson’s Piece and Quilt Collections Neutrals by Aurifil.

I took a quick picture of the colors before I removed the plastic from them, there are 3 different grey/blue colors that I have used before on quilts and I’ll be using one or two of these soon when I quilt my Winter Wonderland project that I’ll be sharing this month as a Island Batik ambassador.
I think we may head to the cities today, we sold our dining room set….about a month ago. I have a smaller table set picked out…..just need to go order it. I wonder where we will eat lunch……..
