Monday Happenings 6 In My Studio
I thought it would be fun for my Monday Happenings 6 in my studio to show you where I put my Featherweight sewing machine in the new table I just bought.
This spot off of the kitchen is where Rusty and I watch tv at night.
Goodies in the Mail
You know how much fun it is to get packages in the mail and this particular day I got 3 things. Yes, I’ve been on a shopping spree lately.
Arrow Featherweight Table
I bought my Arrow Featherweight table from AccuQuilt and it was here in two days! I couldn’t believe how fast the delivery was!
I had bought the black rolling stool for Builder Bob to use in the garage but I nabbed it for my Featherweight. I have this stool in white and gray in my quilt studio and love it.
Once I had everything setup I decided I needed some place to put my notions so I bought this black 3 tier rolling cart. This one is a little smaller than the metal one I have in my studio and is plastic but I liked the size of it.
Goodies in the Mail
I finished working on my quilt made with the 30’s Playtime charm squares. I added one more row to it. That is a thread post for vintage sewing machines which works great when using Aurifil thread.
If you have a Singer Featherweight sewing machine, be sure and visit The Featherweight Shop for parts, information and other goodies for your sewing machine.

30’s Playtime Quilt and Rusty
I think Rusty likes this quilt! I received 3 charm packs of 30’s Playtime in my July Sew Sampler box from Fat Quarter Shop. Here is what all was in the box.
I’m going to finish quilting this little quilt today on my 15-91 Singer and add flannel to back for a warm, cuddly quilt.
I think my Fat Quarter Shop August Sew Sampler box is coming today!
Quilt Town Fabric
Remember the Stacks quilt I made with the Quilt Town fabrics? I kept the selvage edges and I’m sewing them together to make a piece of fabric. I’m not sure what I’m going to make with it yet.
AccuQuilt 4 Inch Qube Angles
I bought the 4 Inch Qube Companion Angles dies as they were on sale. I already have their 4 Inch Mix & Match set.
I want to see if this makes it easier to make my City Birds miniature quilt. So many things to work on!
Vintage Christmas QAL With Lori Holt
Fat Quarter Shop sent me the kit for Lori Holt’s Vintage Christmas QAL that will take place in 2025. The fabrics are beautiful and this is going to be so much fun to make. We will make 4 blocks each month and finish the quilt in December of 2025.
You’ll also need Lori Holt’s book Vintage Christmas.
Batik Umbrella Quilt Tutorial
Linda made my Batik Umbrella quilt and it is adorable! Thank you for sharing!

I just love when the quilts get pet approval! You know its a good one! Gabby (my cat who talks all the time!) is also a good quilt tester.
Thanks Gail, yep, pet testers are the best!
I love the setup for your Featherweight. The photo of Rusty on the quilt is great. What is with dogs and quilts on the floors? Seems like school starts way too early these days.
That a pretty neat table for your Featherweight. I love the playtime fabrics… so cute!
That’s what I call a good mail day!
Connie, Could you tell me the measurements of the featherweight sewing table? Couldn’t find any on the Accuquilt site.
So many fun things going on at your house! I really like what you did with those charm packs. I have the Vintage Christmas book so I’m very excited to see what that 2025 sew-along will look like.
Loads of fun stuff going on in your studio, Connie! It’s sad that kids now have to pay for what we had free in school. I think my daughter had to pay over $300 for Miss M to take Drivers Ed this summer. I think they had maybe three or four classes, but now she won’t have to take a drivers test. Crazy! School is more and more expensive these days!
