Dancing Frogs Tablerunner

I like fast and easy projects so I did a free motion straight stitch around the little frogs using Aurifil thread.
Would you believe I made this tablerunner and forgot to take a photo of it when it was done! I usually take the final photos of quilt projects when I am ready to do the post.
My neighbor happened to come over and when she saw the tablerunner she wanted to buy it for her sister-in-law who loves frogs. Thank goodness I took some photos while I was working on it! The tablerunner uses the same size blocks as the wall hanging so be sure and download the free pattern.
The batiks are from Island Batik and are their basic ones. The background batik is called Rice, the light green is Celery and the dark green is Ivy.
I did a free motion meandering on the background and then some “organic” lines on the other sections. Organic is just a fancy term for lines that aren’t straight. They are so easy to do!

That is so cute. I have that die too and have used it several times, but I may need to do one of these cute runners.
OMG, this is so stinking cute!
This is just lovely – I can see why your neighbor wanted to buy one. I love playful little tablerunners, as you can change them when you need to.
Hello Connie, Once again you have designed such fun and beautiful patterns together! I love them both! I can understand why your neighbor wanted to buy your table runner! Frogs are one of those critters that I have come to appreciate, by listening to them singing their songs throughout the evening and seeing them eating bugs in my flower garden and vegetable garden. Plus, they do make great applique patterns just as you have proven with both of these wonderful patterns! Thank you for sharing them with us!! Have a spectacular day!
Those frogs are adorable. I can see that making a cute baby quilt.
