Crystal Cove Swirl Mini Quilt
This post may contain affiliate links which won’t change your price but will share a commission.Mini Madness continues with mini quilts! In January I made the Crystal Cove Swirl Away block. I decided to go ahead and turn it into a mini quilt. I really like this block in these beautiful batiks from Island Batik.
Last month I shared my Crystal Cove Caravan quilt which was made from the same Crystal Cove collection.
This little guy isn’t going to replace Iggy but this quilt is only 12 inches square and if I had laid it on Iggy…….I am sure it would have blown away!
Since this was a Aurifil designer block I felt it was best to do the quilting with Aurifil thread. As always, my piecing and quilting was done on my vintage 15-91 Singer sewing machine.
The Creative New Quilts & Projects blog hop continues today for Wendy Sheppard’s new book. Be sure and visit Linda to see her Island Batik quilt!

Very sweet little mini. I do hope Iggy understands. That is a cute little prop dog. Blissful Island Batik Quilting…
A lovely color combination in those batiks and a fun mini Connie!
I always love your mini's and this one is stunning. Lovely fabrics, design, and quilting. Great way to brighten up a room.

I'd like to see that block used in a large quilt. Very nice.
