2026 June Color of the Month
I completely forgot about posting the June color of the month. The color for June is ORANGE.

Orange Churn Dash Quilt Blocks
I continued making the Churn Dash quilt blocks using my leftover batiks from my Island Batik ambassador quilt projects. I used a mixture of batiks and cotton quilting fabrics. I do this quite often. The white is a premium muslin.Â
This is a fast and easy quilt block to make.

Orange Morning Glory Quilt Block
Last month I made a couple of Morning Glory quilt blocks and I made some orange blocks this month.

Kitties
I wasn’t paying attention when I went to put the quilt blocks together and almost made the blocks that look like kitties.

Thank you Connie for the work you do and sharing which helps all of us quilters. God bless you dear lady. You are appreciated.
Thank you so much Sarah
Thank you Connie,
I’m going to go pull all the orange Orange I have in my stash.
Thanks again! Mona 😊
Thanks Mona, I had a bright orange bedroom when I was a teen, oh my!
Funny aboout the kitties! I might just make a couple of those! HA
I work for a Husky adoption agency but we love kitties too! I might just make the kitty blocks with a scant 1/2 inch in between the kitties!
Always amazed at the colors you use! Thanks!
Joan, great! I can’t make room in my life for a rescue husky, but yesterday I visited my local public garden and adopted a rescue pitcher plant! Now, I just have to remember to keep it’s feet wet!
Congrats on your adoption Mary Jane
Kitty blocks would be fun for you to make Joan
