2026 February Color of the Month

I don’t know about you but when I think of February, I think of Valentine’s Day and the color red so that is the 2026 February color of the month.

February Color of the Month Challenge 2026

Red is the color for February and it can be any shade and you can make any quilt block or quilt project – it doesn’t have to be the Churn Dash quilt block.

Red Churn Dash Block

Here is my red Churn Dash quilt block. I used a mixture of batiks and cotton quilting fabrics. I do this quite often. The white is a premium muslin.

January was the first time I have done a Linky Party in years and there were a few bugs. I accidently ended the Linky Party last night and I apologize to anyone who didn’t get to add their photo.

Several people sent me their photo as they didn’t have a blog. I can’t add anyone to the Linky Party sorry, but you can upload a photo.

I will have this Linky Party open all month.
Whenever you finish your color challenge you may add a image.
You don’t have to have a website URL, you can leave that blank.
You do have to add your email address but no one will see it.
At the end of the month a winner will be picked, more info on this soon.
