BasiX tablerunner on deckBlog Hops are so much fun! Amy from Sew Incredibly Crazy is hosting the X-Block blog hop, thanks Amy!X-Block Blog Hop

I was sent the 1½” Baby BasiX template and the 2½” BasiX template to use for my X-Block project, I also received this cute pattern and I decided I wanted to make some colorful Posies.

BasiX templates and pattern

I had some fabrics leftover from a layer cake by Sandy Gervais that I used for the free Layer Cake Pop! quilt and couldn’t wait to make a colorful tablerunner.Quilt fabrics used for X-Block tablerunner

The blocks are very easy to make, take a look at the photo below to see how you use the template. Doesn’t this make you want to run out and buy one! Easy Peasy!X-Block-blocks

I made one of the Posie flowers with the 1½” template so you could see the difference in size, isn’t it cute! Visit the shop at Xblocks.com and take a look at the Bloom pattern.
