Fruit Slices and a peek at my messy studio
This post may contain affiliate links which won’t change your price but will share a commission.I was going to write a post today and let you know what I have been doing with the backend of my blog and a review of the month but instead I wanted to do a quick post about the Fruit Slices quilts I am working on and share a great deal!
Once I have this done we are running to Costco and then stop at Riverside Casino for a lunch. We aren’t gamblers but have a gift certificate that we received….two years ago and figured we had better use. I do love the buffet but always eat way too much. Do you do that?
Want a peek at my messy quilt studio? Normally I keep everything cleaned up but I pulled out a old quilt as someone emailed me about the pattern and….I realized I never finished it! You’ll have to guess how old it is.
I am also taking part in Carol’s Put a Little Love in Your Quilt blog hop and I will be sharing a tutorial. As I was working on the post I realized I forgot to take photos of the steps for the blocks so….guess what I’m doing now. The blog hop starts next Monday!
Bright and Colorful Fruit Slices Quilt
Last month I showed you the Fruit Slices quilt that I was working on and told you that I was going to make 2 of them for our spare bedroom.
Save this for later!
Don't worry, I promise not to spam you.
Well…..I have one all pieced and for the second one I have all of the blocks done and need to finish piecing it.
I was doing pretty good until I had to take it off of my design wall so I could work on another quilt.
You know how that goes……getting it back out and working on it instead of the 10 other projects! Hard to do! Then it will be time to quilt both of them!
Can you see how beautiful this will be! I was going to wait until I finished the 2nd quilt but I wanted to share the great sale that is going on today at Craftsy! Keep reading!
These are some other goodies I have bought, now to find the time to “play” with them!
Those Lily Loom charm packs do look fun! The fruit slices quilts will make that guest room a very happy place. Beautiful.
Thanks for the code…I have over $300.00 in my cart and the code has expired…sigh. I guess I really don’t need all that fabric, but…poop!
Fruit Slices is stunning and such a breath of Freshness for Spring. Your studio does not look messy to me…it looks like a real working studio that produces wonderful Works of HeArt Quilts. Enjoy Costco and Lunch…<3
That quilt is so wonderful to look at!!!! The colors make one think of spring and summer when temps are warmer.
Nice! I use Craftsy quite often, I love their site! Thanks again for more inspiration, I love the colors!
Beautiful quilt. Love the colors. And if your studio is a “mess” dear Connie, mine is a disaster!
I love that quilt, Connie. Great job … Also, the coupon JANTREAT has expired, darn it. lol I guess I didn’t really need more fabric.
What a great quilt. The colors are so pretty.
Your quilts are quite lovely – especially the ones on the twin beds – Fruit Slices will tum out even lovelier when quilted!! Those colors are so bright and cheerful!
Love the colorful Slices quilt! I will be checking that sale out! Thanks for the heads up!
Oh Connie. Can you please come over and “mess” up my sewing room? If only mine was half as tidy as your mess. I still love the fruit slices quilts. xx
Hey, thanks for posting the sale. NOW I have to check it out and buy something. My credit card is NOT going to thank you. LOL?
That quilt looks so pretty. It adds such a delightful color splash to the room.
