This design makes me think of some kind of modern pine trees covered in snow. If you look at the green parts…..it just looks like something abstract. It makes a fun design for a table runner out on the deck. The size is 15 x 25.
I used two AccuQuilt dies and my GO! Big Electric Fabric Cutter and made it in no time. The first die I used was the 3 inch GO! Half Rectangle Triangle #55411. This gives you a finished 3 x 6 inch block with lots of possibilities.
I then decided to use my GO! 1 ½ inch finished half square triangle #55319 die. This was the first time I used both dies since I bought them last month.
The notched corners really make it easy to match seams.
I decided to also add some 1 ½ inch squares to the design.
I just laid out pieces until I came up with something I liked.
Iggy had to get in a picture……I think he is really starting to like quilts!

I think HRT's look so good, but I've always been reluctant to try them. Your trees look great!

Last year, Pelly, this year, Iggy!! I'm just glad Iggy can stay with you forever!! He certainly looks handsome under that adorable new runner you made! Your Accuquilt certain makes it easier to cut out quilts – those notches are genius!!! Now I'll have to figure out how to make one of these for myself!!

Iggy is quite the patient model for your beautiful quilts. Lovely fabrics you have used and I like your stipple vs. straight stitching. Creative Bliss…
