Yesterday I put the binding on two batik table runners. The first one is a bear paw pattern that I made when I took part in a Fat Quarter Shop blog hop featuring classic and vintage patterns. Wow…..I looked at my blog post and that was in December of 2014.
Where does time go!! You can still get the pattern free, link in my blog post.
Don’t forget to check out Fat Quarter Shop’s daily sale!
I think I stopped on this as I didn’t have a batik that I thought matched well enough for the binding.
This summer I bought a whole bundle of ⅓ yard pieces of teal batiks and when I opened them yesterday……there was one that matched perfectly.
Here is one more tablerunner that only needed the binding put on it and…..I had the binding all cut and ready to use when I stuck this runner away.
I remember I had two or three fat quarters of this fabric that I had picked up from a quilt store.
This was made using a couple AccuQuilt dies, I used the 3″ Triangles in a Square #55027 and the 2″ squares die #55022.
Where did I find these projects that were almost finished yet forgotten about??? See the bottom cabinets in this huge bookcase……I removed the far left door about a month ago so I could see what was stored there. Well, yesterday I decided to remove the remaining doors and found a huge pile of UFOs that I had forgotten all about.
I put some finished quilted items on the open shelves…..no this isn’t all of them…..I have boxes of them! My UFOs are now sitting in a wire basket where I will have to look at them…..maybe I’ll get more of them finished.
When I move downstairs I plan on painting this unit white.

Beautiful runners Connie. I love your fabric/project storage cabinets. What a blessing to have so many completed quilts to draw from when guests come, not to mention changing out with the seasons!
