Box Block Table Runner
This post may contain affiliate links which won’t change your price but will share a commission.I gifted our neighbor this table runner made with Island Batik fabrics and the Box quilt block. This is such a fun quilt block to work with and I’ve made several quilt projects with it.

We haven’t had much snow this winter but the other day I was able to get some photos of the runner out in the snow. Today it is all gone.
We gave it to our neighbor on Christmas Eve and he forgot to take it home so yesterday I took a couple more photos of it on the deck.
I have really had a great time making quilt projects with the box block and will probably make other things.
I know everyone has been busy with the holidays so I decided to make a post with links to the other quilted projects and tutorials.
Purchase an ad-free printable PDF version of the Box quilt block tutorial in my shop that also includes the table topper and pillow directions. There is no yardage for the table runner. The photos have been reduced in size and the tutorial is 10 pages long.

I also made a table topper using a smaller size quilt block. You can find the tutorial in my Winter Wonderland tutorial.

I really like your patterns as I’ve made 3 or 4 and working on the red one made from strips where you sew on paper. Lots of fun to make and I’d love to free motion quilt it but still trying to get the hang of that. Could you do a tutorial to help me over my fear of going crazy with my stitching. Ha ha thank you
The runner is great and I just might make some plans to use that block for an upcoming quilt myself.
That is a beautiful gift. I love it in the browns.
I love it in both colors!
such a great block to use so many different ways!
I have this tutorial hanging on my sewing room bulletin board because I plan to make this one in the near future. Thanks for sharing this one.
