Drunkards Blossom pattern and fabric
The Flower Girl fabrics by Heather Briggs of My Sew Quilty Life for Moda is what was included to make the Drunkards Blossom quilt. The fabrics are beautiful!
Drunkard’s Path Templates
Bella Rose included templates for 2 different sizes of Drunkard’s Path blocks. One size is for 4.5 inch blocks and the other is for 6.5 inch blocks.
Olfa 18mm Rotary Cutter
This seems to be the month for rotary cutters! The Olfa 18mm rotary cutter is great to use when you want to get into tiny spots. This is perfect for applique and a great addition to your stash.
TrueGrips
TrueGrips by TrueCut are non-slip adhesive rings that are great to use on your rulers. I use these on several of my rulers.
Sewline Fabric Glue Pen
The Sewline fabric glue pen is a quick and easy way to hold fabrics for sewing. This will work great when making the Drunkard’s Path blocks.

I love the Sew Line Fabric Glue Pen. I love how detailed you can be as to where you place the glue! Plus they are so cute!!
One of my favorite notions is the glue stick as it helps keep fabric in place better than pins in many cases!
I use and like so many notions — difficult to name a favorite, ,,,but, I use a short, wooden shish kabob stick as a stiletto, It is inexpensive, easily replaced, does not put a burr on the sewing machine needle.

I don’t know if this is where I should enter for the giveaway after watching the Bella Rose unboxing. Connie said to enter on her blog. The fabric and patterns are beautiful!
I’m just starting to applique, so the 18mm rotary cutter seems like a great tool to use! I also like using a Frixion pen to mark fabric – such a wonderful way to get accurate lines and they disappear with the iron!
My favorite notions are my rulers. They come in real handy from cutting out pieces, to marking lines and patterns for hand quilting, to making a line sometimes, for hand attaching the binding. Start to finish they are a straight shooter.
Love the True Grips.
I would just like the box and the tissue paper, lol. It’s so pretty. But the contents is very nice with beautiful fabrics, patterns and notions. The Peeps add a cute touch. My favorite notion is the Creative Grids Stripology Ruler. So easy to cut multiple strips with it.
My favorite sewing notion is a beautiful seam ripper that my husband bought me ( with a little help from me 😉 ) it is made from the bottom portion of an old silverware knife. It fits perfectly in my hand and it makes my happy.
My favorite notion is a stilleto. Use it for everything!

I have had the true grips on my rulers for a long time. have to replace them when new rulers join the collection

Those fabrics are beautiful, as is the quilt. Seems like you are on a roll with making Drunkard’s Path blocks lately. I’ve not used the 18mm cutter much, but don’t know how we ever got along without our rotary cutters (and rulers). Stay warm there.

I love the Bella Rose colors and all the gifts, are great. I saw someone say they could just flip the ruler around using the true grips but I didn’t get it, they are a real held even if the flip doesn’t register for me. lol I just bought the small rotary cutter, I love them all. God is good, everyday! 😊

I always enjoy watching the unboxing videos. I wish I could afford a subscription to even one of these companies, but it just isn’t in my budget. I will need to get those anti-slip dots and see if I can cut my fabric better.
Oh my…I’m having a “duh” moment…I couldn’t find where to comment so I did ask “how” on the youtube video…so sorry. My favorite quilting tool (I have so many favorites) would have to be a rotary cutter…I’m so glad the days are gone when using scissors to cut out block pieces, large strips and everything inbetween with scissors. The Bellarose box is very pretty and was full of such lovely and helpful items…I find it a little pricey but the March box seemed to be well worth the price. I love the looks of that glue pen with the flowers on it. Much prettier than the normal one.
drunkard’s path templates interest me ! I have been thinking about them for a while.
My favourite notion is found in the mechanic’s and builders’ stores. An extendable magnetic wand. It picks up pins, bobbins, a steel ruler and even scissors that fall to the floor. A life saver for when something falls right at the back of my sewing desk. After this being my #1, the next best item would be the corner curve template.
I don’t know if scissors count as a notion, but I love all my Karen Kay Buckley scissors!
Connie, my favorite notion is the adhesive grips for my rulers. As a relatively new quilter, I had the hardest time in the beginning cutting my fabrics straight until I found those! LIFESAVER, not to mention how it helped to lessen my frustration. 🙂

My favorite notion has to be my clips! I have them in two sizes and now a set with letters and numbers that I recently got. I use them all the time.

I haven’t heard of this subscription box before! I may have to look at it.
My favorite “notion” is not something that is sold in a quilt shop. I have a soldering tool that was my father-in-law’s that has two different tips. One is pointed but flat on one side that I can use as a stiletto; the other side has a prong that is great for pulling threads up from the bobbin. It’s so useful!
I’d love a smaller rotary cutter for smaller blocks. Thanks for all the shared info.
My favorite & most useful notion would be my rotary cutter. This notion has saved me time & pain-free cutting of fabrics. Gone are the days of scissor cutting!!
I never thought of using fabric glue to hold my projects, but was hesitant until I saw Sewline’s fabric glue- It’s not a permanent!!

I’ve never tried a smaller rotary cutter, that looks neat. I like the drunkards path pattern, have made a couple of tables runners using it. I use mt prison fabric pens a lot for many patterns, especially half square triangle

Definitely my rotary cutter. After using one to cut material for quilts I can’t go back to scissors.
The True Grips are absolutely essential. Nothing is worse than having that ruler slip.

I love my rotary cutter….such a time saver.. Remember the days before rotary cutting, was that ever time consuming. Guess that is really telling my age (let’s not go there). Glad they are behind us now. Of course there are still times we have to get out our scissors and do it the old fashion way…
Just one favorite notion? That’s a tough one. But one thing I use often and wouldn’t want to do without is my seam roller. I do a lot of FPP so a roller is really handy.
My favorite notion would be my rotary cutter. What did we do without them?? Such a time saver.
I love the Bella Rose fabrics. They look so springy and delicate. My favorite notion at the moment is my 2 foot cutter (don’t remember the exact name of it) but the True Grips could become another favorite if I ever get them. I don’t have the mini rotary cutter either so would love to try that notion, too. Thank you for sharing all your wonderful ideas and patterns with us.
I’ve not ever used a glue pen. But for doing the drunkards path, curved blocks, I can see how it would be useful over the pinning method! And though I don’t usually like pastels, this particular collection is really pretty! The rose shades work nicely and maybe it’s about time I that I move away from my earthtones and Halloween and Christmas! Hugs! HOpe you are doing well!

Cute stuff, I like the opening of these boxes with the surprise of goodies! The colors you got today are the colors I’ve been shopping for my daughter in law but I haven’t decided on a pattern yet and it has to be king size lol. But I did get a king size one done for my other son so it’s doable😅 I don’t have a favorite notion i don’t think but I do love my rotary cutters.

My favorite notion is my thimble. Currently I like to do a lot of hand work. It helps to protect my fingers.
My rotary cutter is my all-time favorite notion. But I really also love those little clear dots to put onto rulers so they don’t slip. I’ve put them onto nearly all of my rulers.
I’m not sure if it’s considered a notion, but my Roxanne thimble is my favorite. Thank you!
I like the true grip dots. They are great on rulers and templates. I especially like them on the rulers for machine quilting. They keep you from slipping.

My favorite notion is seam ruler that you can draw 1/4 inch on each side of the ruler to make your seams.
True Grips are my FAVE! They sure make my life easier…
I’ve been meaning to order more as I have a couple new rulers
that I need to add them to. When I am cutting fabric, they keep my
rulers from sliding and cutting wrong.

I love that fancy fabric glue pen! I love everything I saw. Actually, I love everything “quilts!” I appreciate you and everything you do! I’m glad that the art of quilting is growing and so many young people are learning it, too. At one time, I was afraid it was going to be a dying art, but I am glad I was wrong.
Rotary cutter – I love it – especially since I’m left handed and can use the universal one. Not like my sewing scissors.

Love all the material you get in the boxes. I think I’m going to look for the true grip dots. My rulers are always slipping and I have funny cuts on my material. The glue stick is great, started paper piecing and it’s great for the first piece of fabric, better then pins. It’s nice seeing your work and thanks for the great library that you let us access.
I liked the drunkards path templates. I have never made the block but would like to. This would make it easier and could use the 5” squares to do it.

My favorite notion has to be the Sew-line glue pins. I use them for paper piecing, binding, and regular piecing.
I always love the unboxing of the monthly subscriptions! My favorite notion would be the Sewline fabric glue pen. I’ve been seeing recent videos of it being used in place of pins—I never thought of that!
I just watched your video giveaway and it was helpful to see the Olfa 18mm cutter and the Drunkard’s Path Templates. I believe the Olfa cutter will help me with cutting fabric.
