Are you ready to decorate for fall? I recently shared a new pattern called Arrowhead that features the Island Batik Pumpkin Patch collection and I happened to have a couple of extra blocks leftover.

What do you do with leftover quilt blocks? Create a table topper!

I just finished up this little Arrowhead table topper and already have it placed on our table with a couple of little critters on it!

If you have the AccuQuilt GO! Half Square Triangle-2″ Finished square die, you could make this table topper in no time! The GO! Qube Mix & Match 8″ block die set contains both the half square die and the square that I used in the table topper.

We always have a table topper on our table and this was a great project to use up those extra blocks.

24″ x 24″ Table Topper

This Arrowhead table topper measures 24″ x 24″. We have a lot of neutral and browns in our kitchen and living room so this will fit perfectly.

I used Aurifil thread in a light tan color for my free-motion quilting that was done on my vintage 15-91 Singer sewing machine.

I used the border fabric for the back, aren’t the pumpkins neat! This will also make a perfect table topper this fall….unless my daughter grabs it!

This month we had two projects to make as Island Batik Ambassadors. The first was our Galentine’s Day mug rug and the second was to make a small quilt for the MiniLove project so I made the Arrowhead table topper using the leftover fabric from my Arrowhead quilt.

Most of the ambassadors created all kinds of beautiful projects with the bundle of red and pinks fabrics we received but I did something a little different.

Don’t forget that I have a list of all of the ambassadors handy!

Hello Connie; I am agreeing with Jean and Dione, like your daughter I would snatch it up in a heartbeat and display it on my table. How wonderful that Hancock’s will be carrying your pattern! It will be a big success! As for rain and snow, I think we changed because today here instead of rain we are getting snow. Originally being from Wyoming, I love to watch it snow and the beauty of untouched areas of snow are snow beautiful; when we do get snow here in Southern Oregon where I live it is a big deal and seldom lasts for more than a day. I hope that you have a great day! Plus, congratulations again!!
