I worked with lots of pink scraps this month and here is my newest little mug rug. I pieced little strings together and then added a little applique flower to it.
This is the last Saturday to link to Rainbow Scrap Challenge 2013 – be sure and check out what others are working on!
Here are the other pink projects I worked on this month and the posts.

Today I get to go to Chuck E. Cheese for pizza and my granddaughter’s 6th birthday…..I don’t think this is going to be a quiet day……
Yesterday my friend Mary stopped by and we had fun looking at things in my quilt room and I showed her how to use the AccuQuilt Go Baby and the Sizzix Big Shot, she couldn’t believe how easy and fun it was to use them. She works a lot with felted wool applique and also makes rag rugs with cotton strips which she is going to teach me how to do.
Sweet little mug rug. Love the look of the other pink blocks with batik.
That mug rug is so awesome Connie. And there's that super cute flower again. I LOVE that one. Of course, I love everything you make. 🙂 I still need to tell you though.
I love your mug rug and your pink pillow. I hope the birthday party went well.
Absolutely LOVE your mug rug!! I may just have to make one for me ;)) You have a wonderful collection of pink projects and some great tutorials for this month Connie! Love them all. Thank you for all the lovely eye candy!
Great mug rug! Love the flower addition!
your mug rug is soooo cheery! I would love to see that on my desk at work every day. I need to look at my scraps.
I don't have that much in pink, but I sure like what you've created thanks for the motivation 😉
Mug Rug is cute, and I really like the beginnings of the Hugs and Kisses project.
Some wonderful PINK projects Connie! Love your little mug rug – you always make things look so cute with your special applique!
Love the little pink mug rug – may have to start making a few as I don't like to put out full-size placemats when all I'm having is my coffee! Cute, cute, cute!
Love all your mug rugs! Are lovely!
Have a good sunday!
Thanks for the block printout. I have been looking for a block for my "Sew Red for Women". There was one block I just didn't like at all, and I needed a 12-inch substitute. This is just perfect! I can use all the reds/pinks I have used in the other blocks. Once again, great ideas……..have a great weekend!
Love that mug rug!
What a good sport you are for braving an afternoon at Chuck-E-Cheese. It does make you want to go and hide for a while in a quiet room. Love your pink mug rug — and you even found the perfect mug to use with it. Looks like a productive pink month for you. Thanks for linking in.
Great pinks, Connie. I hope you still can hear by days end!!!
Pretty mug rug. Love all your pink projects!
Love how nicely the reds and pinks play together. Stunning mug rug! I hope you will post some pictures of your future rag rugs. I have some ugly old fabrics that I'll never use in quilts. But I think they would look awesome in a rag rug at my kitchen sink.
Have a good time at the birthday party.
What a cute mug rug! Your pillow is sweet too.
Great pink projects!
Love that pink mug mat, girl. 🙂 As well as the pillow. Have a blast at the birthday party. 🙂
Looking at all of your sweet projects, I have come to the conclusion that my stash is sorely lacking in pinks! 🙂 That mug rug is just too cute – your applique just the perfect finishing touch!
Wow Connie…you made great use of your pink scraps!!
Nice mug rug – too pretty to put coffee and treat on!
