I guess May showed up before I was ready for it and I’m a day or two behind. Sorry. Did you work on your unfinished quilt project this month? Hopefully you were able to.
Please share the quilt UFO you plan to work on this month or show your finished one from April.

I would love for you to watch my video, thanks!
My April UFO Challenge is completed
It was actually fun to quilt my April UFO challenge project. It was #11, a 56 x 72 sampler quilt that I pieced way back in 2014! I made a new block every month through 2014 taking part in the Aurifil Designer Block of the Month using batiks. I believe I was an Aurifil ambassador that year. I have notes that I laid out all of the blocks but never saw a sashing design on the Aurifil blog so I designed my own.

Finished UFO!
Everyone in my family is loving this quilt and the colors I used. The fabrics are batiks that I purchased from various places.
After that many years I still love working with batiks and now I almost exclusively use Island Batik of Lumin Fabrics batiks.

May UFO is #4
This is a group of 6-inch by width of fabric strips. I actually forgot these are Christmas fabrics. Hmmm, now to think of something to make with them!

My May UFO is finished. That project took up A LOT of very valuable space in my sewing room, happy it’s finished. It’s nice and warm, just in time for summer (ha ha). This project was not on my original UFO list – #4 was a Vogue Bag pattern, and I realized I really didn’t want it.
Nice choice of colors. LOVE the tourquoise .I think Rusty approves too 😉
Looks like Rusty really approves of the new quilt! Just the perfect color! And it turned out so beautiful! Thanks for the idea of “What to finish first!” I have a basket of extra large zip bags of quilt pattern/fabric/thread/back just waiting to be picked! Now to start and FINISH one! Thanks for the inspiration you send every time!
Hi Connie. I got the April ufo finished last week but could not get this computer to upload the pictures. I also made the Twizzler too. I love it. If I can get this lousy windows 11 to upload I’ll send you the pictures. Thank you
I can’t wait to see them Linda!
That turned out so beautifully. Those plots are really pretty. I’d have never guessed that May’s UFO fabrics are Christmas. I’m sure you will have fun with those.
Spellcheck!!! Not PLOTS…..meant to be COLORS.
Thanks Mary, I knew what you meant.
Rusty blends well with the batiks quilt. 🤗👍🏻
Beautiful- love the colors. Looks like lots of work put into this one.
Awww…Rusty!
I love the neutral quilt with the pop of aqua.
Thanks Sheryl
Very pretty UFO April quilt. Looks difficult.
Thanks Sue, not difficult when you do one block at a time.
Love your April finished UFO. A quilt along sampler tutorial like that would be fun!
I agree Mary
The quilt is so pretty!! Such a wonderful blend of fabrics. Another great finish!
Thanks Kate
