Fun-Size Quilts – 17 Popular Designers Play with Fat Quarters was sent to me by Martingale Publishing to review and I really enjoyed the variety of quilts.

You will find 19 adorable small quilts that are all the size of a fat quarter in this book which are designed by 17 different designers. All patterns are included with no special rulers needed and you will find applique, foundation paper piecing, English paper piecing and basic piecing.

Take a look at the sweet little hedge hogs in this small quilt, aren’t they cute! This is called Hedgehog Heyday by Cheri Lefler.

If you like foundation paper piecing this would be a great one for you. It is called Starlight by Elizabeth Dackson.

Fun-Size Quilts: 17 Popular Designers Play with Fat Quarters is also available on Amazon.

Did you know if you buy a quilt book from Martingale you also get a e-book when you order a print version. I prefer print versions of books but a e-book is nice so you can print the appliques with your printer.

  1. I've been thinking about getting this book after seeing it alot lately. It looks like something that may help me find my groove again since they are smaller and quicker to get a finish. I love them all but that flower one with the ric rack stems is too cute and the hedgehogs, adorable.
