En Provence Batik Mystery Quilt
This post may contain affiliate links which won’t change your price but will share a commission.The final clues are up for En Provence by Bonnie Hunter and I had to get a couple squares and sashes done so I could get an idea of what it would look like. My quilt is a En Provence Batik Mystery Quilt.
One of the neutrals that I used was a pale yellow (I think it is the same one I’m using for the Solstice Block Challenge) so I decided to go with a darker yellow batik and I”m also going to use it for all of the yellow blocks.
I took these photos last night without natural light but they are pretty close to the actual colors.
Once again I was able to use my AccuQuilt Die Cutter and the 3″ Quarter Square die to make the blocks needed in the mystery quilt. This really made it fast to get all the pieces cut. The colors here are a little wonky. I’ve got 2 quilts that are ready to be quilted so I might have to stop on this for a while. It was fun to get an idea of what the quilt will look like.

Your fabrics make a gorgeous block… so rich and colour saturated… love it!
Now that I’ve,seen the reveal, I’m thinking of not using the bright yellows I chose. I’ll have to play with it some more. Good thing the yellow was left for last! I only made half the blocks so I’ll have to make a few more units since 8 blocks won’t work. Love yours in batiks.

With all that was going on over here, I did not even cut my fabric. Now I may have to cut out one block to see if I will like it.

You are totally rocking this! I really like it in batiks–completely changes the look. I regret not starting this one.
Beautiful done is all batiks. I haven’t tackled anything yet with the yellow, so clue 6 and 7. And I’m still plugging away on a couple of the other clues. But I’m hoping this afternoon to play with these some more.
