I’ve been making all kinds of Drunkard’s Path blocks with a new group of batiks from Island Batik and the AccuQuilt GO! 4″ Drunkard’s Path die.
Desert Rose is a new Fall Collection of beautiful batiks from Island Batik. I made a quilt that went to Fall Market out of them and I’ll show you that soon. My oldest granddaughter called dibs on it months ago and is waiting patiently for it.
Even the leftovers are beautiful!!! I put these all in a bag….it might be time to try a little thread stitching over them.
I saw another big boat go up river the other day, it was being pushed by a tow.
This is the Catfish Bend Casino that was in Burlington, Iowa. We heard it was leaving Burlington but we aren’t sure where it is going. You just never know what you will see on the Mississippi.

It's always fun to see what you do next, Connie. The thread stitching should be very interesting.

Those colors are so pretty. It looks like you are going to have fun sewing those together.

he he, I was to use the DP die for my batiks too I think, but already have 2 dies planned and one of them in the works, so we'll see. I do have SOMEONE coming in about 2 wks….. not that she will keep me from quilting TOO long 🙂
