Brown or black blocks for October…..so far I have made the brown ones.
I made up a couple brown blocks for the Rainbow Scrappy Challenge at So Scrappy. I decided to just reverse the way I did the brown half square triangle blocks for a completely different look.
Here is the diagram for my brown block. You can also find my tutorial for this block here.
Such a cute block! Thanks for sharing the tutorial on how you made it.
Je te félicite pour tout le travail que tu fais et pour toute la connaissance que tu as !

Beautiful blocks. It's amazing how just switching the coloring on the half square triangles makes such a difference in the final look.
Cute blocks. They definitely look like fall flowers!
Wow! This block actually looks great in the browns. Although this isn't one of my favorite colors, I don't mind making one if it looks as good as yours.
Love how reversing the hst's make such a difference in the look. Both are lovely.
They look great and congrats to the winner.
Seeing your flower blocks always tickles my fancy!
These look great. The pieced background really adds depth to the block.
I just love your flower block – looks so yummy no matter what color it is set into.
Beautiful Browns Block. This is such a happy flower. Congratulations to CalicoJean on winning. Falling into Autumn Bliss…
I love it, both ways, in brown.
Wow — this block is terrific in browns! I went and looked at the original tutorial, and pinned it (with your blog name). I am SO glad that you included the enlargement of the blue applique flower – very helpful! Thank you for all that you do!

love the blocks!
That is a great block! I love the background behind the flower!
Switching the hst placement really does give each block a different feel, but I love them both. Beautiful!
