Here is my newest pattern called Aruba Sunset. It is made with the beautiful Island Batik collection called Flower Fields Collection which is part of the their new Spring collections.  Aruba Sunset is going to International Quilt Market in Minneapolis, MN in May and will be in Island Batik’s booth.

Here are a couple more quilts that I have pieced but haven’t had time to quilt. I’m not sure what coloring I like the best!Aruba Sunset Quilt Pattern

Thank you for your quick reply. You said the feed dog can be lowered with a knob. I do not find a knob on the 15-91 I have on the table. I currently have a small piece of a plastic milk jug taped over the feed dogs and needle hole. There is something I am missing, I just can’t seem to figure it out. I don’t have the wonderful handles you have and there is no stitch regulator. I wish I could come watch you for a while.

  3. Wonderful pattern Connie! Congrats on more quilts headed to Market! Showing all the tester quilts like you have here, really shows how different the colors chosen, as well as the quilting done to each can make such a huge difference. They all look great.

Thanks for letting me test your pattern. It was so much fun and went together so fast. I'm sure anyone would be able to make it. I love seeing everyone's version of it. Rina

  5. It's just gorgeous Connie! I pinned it! It is really fun to see all the beautiful Aruba versions that your friends made too! Now I have lots of ideas for the colors to use for mine.

I really like the colour combination in pink and orange! Beautiful!

  11. It was such fun to test the pattern for you. And it is extra fun to see what everyone else did. The fabric combos are really lovely.

Your accurate measurements make this quilt so easy and fast that I would recommend it to a beginner. The center sunburst area is the only section that might be challenging for a beginner, but it's not a difficult technique. You made it easy to do.
