Blooming Piano Keys Table Runner
This post may contain affiliate links which won’t change your price but will share a commission. So has anyone else made a runner from my Piano Keys tutorial? I still had some Full Bloom by Island Batik. The background fabric which looks like it is little rain drops is also a batik called Heavenly Hues Halo from Island Batik.
Last Monday Debbie from Stitchn’ Therapy showed a couple Piano Keys table runners that she made and when I read her post I realized that I didn’t mention in my tutorial that you had to switch just 2 of the 7 ½ in strips to make sure the colors don’t line up across from each other. You can see in the photo below which two I switched.
Debbie also made one in florals that is beautiful using this design and did quilted feathers in the center.
Here was my pink table runner laid out that way, it would be great on a table with a centerpiece in the middle of it.
There are all kinds of variations. I can also see making a baby quilt or throw with a design like this.
Love the design and the colors. The little circles really adds a lot the the quilt. Micki@2dogsstudio.us
With the added circles, I can hear music coming from those piano keys 🙂

Haven't made it yet, but I hope to some day. 🙂 Off to vote one more time. 🙂
Thanks Connie….will update my notes on the pattern. I am taking photos of my finish now and will get both runners posted tomorrow. And yes, I am adding the idea for a small quilt—-love that and it could be really cute!
The raindrop version is so cute. Such a versatile pattern, hope everyone grabs it. BTW….I gave you 2 more votes 😉
