If you are looking for a easy baby quilt to make, then I think you will like my Willow quilt pattern. I also added a 56″ x 68″ quilt size to the pattern which would be fun to make.
Sunday Brunch
Last January I received 3 charm packs of Sunday Brunch by BasicGrey in a Sew Sampler box from Fat Quarter Shop. I let the fabric age a bit and this month I decided to use one of the charm packs to make this baby quilt.
The Sunday Brunch charm pack is still available.
Charm Squares
I used all but 2 of the 5-inch charm squares.
Willow Quilt Pattern
Last year I also sorted through my quilt fabric and put most of it on comic book boards. Now whenever I get a yard or more of fabric it gets put on a board right away.
That made it easy for me to find a fabric that worked for the binding and backing. It is a pretty good match.
Willow Quilt 32 x 36
The quilt is 32″ x 36″ and perfect for a baby or as wheelchair/lap quilt.
Willow Quilt Pattern
Small quilts like this are easy to quilt with your sewing machine. I used my vintage 15-91 Singer sewing machine.
Simple Quilting
I did a simple stipple quilting with a off-white thread.

Just purchased this pattern. I saw Rusty sitting on it in yesterday’s blog. Looks “sew” EZ. I love the colors in this collection and the backing is lovely also. Great design and beautiful quilt. This would be a good pattern for beginners.
