Here is the table runner that I made using the Island Batik Tuscany Sun collection that is part of Island Batik’s new Fall/Winter collection. Add some fall leaves and a pumpkin and it looks perfect for Halloween and will continue to look perfect for Thanksgiving. The size is 12 inches x 44 inches.

If you would like to make a Ohio Star block be sure and take a look at my Twirling Star Tutorial.
At first you might think it is made up of 5 Ohio Star blocks but it really isn’t.
This might make it a little easier to see what I did.
As always, I did my free motion quilting on my vintage 15-91 Singer…..love my old sewing machines. I used Glide cream #20001 thread from Fil-Tech Bobbin Central. It has a beautiful sheen.
You can see the quilting a little better in this photo.
The Ohio Star block is one of my favorite quilt blocks.

Beautiful runner, Connie.
I sure did think it was 5 stars at first! Very clever!
I love this design and you could change the colors for each season. Oh, too many projects and not enough time (but I do have enough fabric 🙂 )
Beautiful and just says "autumn".
