Triangle Pouch
This post may contain affiliate links which won’t change your price but will share a commission.Carrie Nelson shared a cute tutorial the other day on The Moda Cutting Table and I couldn’t resist making one…..or two of the little triangle pouches. You can find the tutorial here
and also see lots of samples of different triangle pouches. A Spoonful
of Sugar has a patchwork triangle pouch tutorial also that I want to
make. You can find it here. If you like videos, check out the one made by Crafty Gemini here. Her videos are always fun to watch and very informative.
My first sample was made with a couple pieces of fabric I pulled out of my scrap box.
I had to sacrifice a 18 inch zipper as it was the last pink one I had. For the little bit of extra cost, I always buy longer zippers and cut them off when I need a smaller one. It is about time to find another sale on zippers and stock up. If you do a search on Pinterest for Triangle Pouch…..like I did….you will be spending hours looking at all the projects!
Save this for later!
Don't worry, I promise not to spam you.
If you get the urge to make a couple you might be interested in some of the beautiful fabrics on sale at Craftsy. Craftsy is having some great sales that I want to share with you! I am an affiliate for Craftsy and may be compensated if you make a purchase.

Drool:P Such eye candy!
Connie, your little pouches are adorable!
why are you tempting me??? sigh
cute pouch, I did the same about the zippers when I bought some from amazon a while ago, got like 20 or 30 and I picked LONG ones to I could cut them down when I need to.
What a cute little pouch! Great job, Connie.
Super cute pouch, thanks for sharing the links, I'm off to check them out! I buy zippers from sewtrue.com. Great prices, and I see they have free shipping (over $25) right now. I'm on their email list and in the past I have frequently gotten free shipping offers with no minimum. My only complaint is they don't have lime green zippers!
I have made these in all sizes from a Nancy Zieman pattern decades old and I still love them to this day. They are addicting. Creative Bliss…
I love your little triangle pouch. How lucky we are to have so many video tutorials available. Gourmet quilter has one making pouches in different shapes from 10" squares. I made some for my grandson's 4th birthday and filled them with cars. Wrapping her can reuse! The yellow and blue batik on sale at Craftsy was designed by my friend Daniella, Cabana from her first collection. I just love it when I see her stuff around the web. Thanks for sharing!
So cute! I will definitely have to try one (or two or ten) of those!
I get zippers from zipit on etsy. Great selections, excellent customer service
Such cute pouches. I watched the video and she makes it look really easy. I have to make some of these. Thanks, Connie!!
What a fun pouch! Now I have to go to all of you different sites you posted! Love all the fabrics too. Bet you couldn't resist some of those 😉
