Log Cabin Deer Pillow
When I heard about the blog hop being “For the Boys” I knew right away that I wanted to make a couple pillows for……the brothers. I have several brothers who love hunting and anything with deer, ducks, geese, etc. is always a hit with them. We do a White Elephant exchange at Christmas and I think the deer pillows will be my gift.
I couldn’t make just one…….I made a bunch of log cabin blocks and appliqued the deer on them.
Here is a closeup of the applique, I like to do a free motion squiggle, wiggle or just a straight stitch.
This brown leaf fabric was perfect for the backs.
