A little snow on the deck made a perfect setting for my Joyful Jelly Roll Tree Skirt. I used some beautiful teal batiks, you know how much I enjoy working with batiks!
Iggy is still keeping an eye on the river. We were very fortunate that the Mississippi river didn’t come up very high in December and as since gone down.

This is a neat pattern, here you can see the sections laid out for the tree skirt. Since I already have about 3 tree skirts, I decided instead to make it into a quilt.

Working on my new studio has put me behind. I have the batting and backing on it but now I am thinking I would like to add some applique to the center. What do you think?

Always great!!!! Yes to the applique
Absolutely gorgeous. Love the design and the fabrics. I know you've been busy with your new studio being built and now your "move-in". But I'm thrilled you were able to create and share this with us today. Great job.

Wow! That is very striking. And the view off your deck is wonderful.
Thiis is a beautiful tree skirt/quilt/table cover. For your quilt appliqué in the center would be stunning. Happy Studio Time…
