This year I’m going to try and do a post once a week that shows what is happening in my quilt studio. I was doing Monday Happenings in my studio but it was really hit or miss as to when I shared one.
My goal this year is do this weekly (of course I’m starting on the third week of January).
Quilt Pattern Coming
I have finished a cute quilt and should have the pattern ready in another day or two.
I picked on of my fabrics that are on comic boards for the backing and binding. I think this is a good match.
Rusty wasn’t really in the mood to pose this morning but I got this.
UFO for January
I also pieced a backing for my January UFO. I have it all pinned as I’m going to quilt it on my vintage Singer 15-91. Are you joining me?
Patriotic Project Keeper Giveaway

Cardmaking
Every Tuesday evening we go to Taylored Expressions for their free Make and Take. Here is the card we made using the free turtle stamp that comes with any purchase in January. Of course I couldn’t resist getting the little accessories.
Friday Night Cardmaking
Every Friday night we try and get together and work on cardmaking.
This week I worked on a birthday card for my granddaughter. I bet you can tell which one I’ll be giving to her.
Coffee with friends
I had better get this blog post uploaded as Wednesday morning is when I meet up with several ladies for coffee at Panera, then I’ll come home and head to my quilt studio.
I finished 3 quilts for Island Batik that will be shared later in the year and they have been mailed. I have exciting things happening this year!

Always love hearing form you and seeing all the wonderful things coming and going out of the studio! Our monthly sewing group got canceled because of snow today – of course the snow stopped shortly after we finished calling everyone!!!! Thanks for the all great photos!!!
